In a 2018 interview with YNOT Cam, when she was nominated for its Cam Crossover Star award, Snow said she had begun as a mainstream actress but found that opportunities for Asian, and especially Filipina, actresses were limited, so she set out to become a producer. Without education or experience she struggled to raise money, and said several meetings ended with would-be investors offering funding if she slept with them. "I figured if I was going to have to have sex for the money to film my projects, then I was going to pick and choose who I wanted to have sex with," she said. She turned to camming after her first agent's promised bookings dried up for almost six weeks, soon after she had quit her two day jobs; she later moved to a better agency, but said camming would always be an essential part of her career because it is more consistent and more personal. She described porn as acting a role, unlike camming, where clients sometimes just want to talk. At the time she had a feature film and a documentary in development and was starting her own line of porn series.

Camming and production. XBIZ named Snow its Cam Star of the Month in May 2021. In the accompanying interview she said she had been "very guarded and cautious" when she arrived, but soon learned that many negative stereotypes about big-company shoots were untrue. By then she had appeared in more than 150 paysite releases. She said she started camming in April 2017 "as a necessity": she had done only a dozen or so shoots when bookings with her original agent dried up. Streamate had been her "home" since September 2017. She liked that models set their own rates and keep the explicit material for paid private shows. A typical day ran from 6 p.m. to 3 a.m. with a dinner break, and her only stated contest strategy was perseverance. She said growing her social media had been hard, because her official Instagram had been shut down several times and was shadow-banned at the time.

Her production team wrote, produced and directed her adult feature Choice, which earned award nominations in 2020, including Best Supporting Actor for Nathan Bronson. Its cast included Cherie DeVille, Jake Adams, Chloe Cherry, Christiana Cinn, Gina Valentina and Jill Kassidy. She said a mainstream comedy TV pilot she produced in 2019 won Best Comedy at CineKink 2020. In 2021 she was developing two mainstream features, three mainstream pilots and several adult features, after a major funding deal fell through. She was also planning a shoot series to give new performers, especially cam models, "a positive introduction to the adult film industry", and a signing and filming tour of all 50 US states.
