I met Tommy through his girlfriend, Tru Kait. I arranged to talk with Tru and ended up becoming friends with Tommy. I saw Tommy many times in the Czech Republic, and in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, lots of places. We built a really cool friendship.

Tommy Wood is a Czech model and adult performer from Dobřany, in what was then Czechoslovakia. He started modeling at 19, and from 2008 he became a sought-after print model, appearing on the covers of magazines such as Men's Health, Men's Folio and Style: Men, and in print and TV advertising across Asia, including Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. His fashion work includes campaigns for Armani Jeans, Emporio Armani, Calvin Klein, Kenneth Cole, Buffalo and Gas Jeans.

In 2019 he moved into adult film under the name Tommy Wood, and he has filmed many scenes with Tru Kait. He is represented by 101 Modeling and also sells his own content on ManyVids.

Modelling career. In an October 2022 interview with the Czech magazine LUI, billed as his first in his home country, he called a multi-year global Emporio Armani campaign his biggest modelling achievement. He also cited perfume campaigns for Trussardi and L'Oréal, and fashion editorials with the photographer Steven Meisel, including a Vogue shoot in Milan and a shoot with Linda Evangelista. He said that early on, flying to Singapore or Tokyo, he earned about $4,000 a month, and that between 2012 and 2018 he averaged about $30,000 a month. By 2022 most of his income came from rental property he had bought in New York and New Jersey. He said Instagram reach had come to matter more to clients than a portfolio. He trains at the gym daily, does Bikram yoga every other day and eats a mostly vegetarian diet.

Adult work. He told LUI that as a young man he had made gay films for the Czech studio Bel Ami. He said several advertising clients, mostly production companies rather than brands such as Armani or Vera Wang, dropped him after learning about it, which cost him a lot of money, but that he did not regret it. He describes himself as straight. He said he moved into adult content after he began dating a woman who works in porn and showed him how to monetise self-produced content. The couple shoot at home and publish on their own platforms, and he said he was making up to $20,000 a month from one subscription site alone. "It's a job like any other," he said, comparing himself to a YouTuber, and he liked being his own boss. At the time he was based in Los Angeles but considering a move back to Prague. He said he planned to start his own company and saw himself in the business for at least another ten years.
